Free Online Scientific Calculator

Our scientific calculator supports all advanced mathematical functions including trigonometry, logarithms, exponents, and more. Perfect for students, engineers, and professionals who need reliable calculations.

Available Functions

  • Trigonometry: sin, cos, tan, and inverse functions (sin⁻¹, cos⁻¹, tan⁻¹)
  • Logarithms: log (base 10) and natural log (ln)
  • Powers & Roots: x², x³, square root (√), and 10ˣ
  • Special: π, e, factorial (n!), absolute value |x|, and reciprocal (1/x)

DEG vs RAD Mode

Toggle between degree and radian mode using the DEG button. Degree mode is default and is used for most everyday calculations. Radian mode is used in advanced mathematics and calculus.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between log and ln?+
log calculates the base-10 logarithm (e.g., log(100)=2), while ln calculates the natural logarithm using base e (≈2.718).
How do I calculate sin of 45 degrees?+
Make sure the calculator is in DEG mode (shown at top), then enter 45 and press sin. The result is 0.7071.
What does n! mean?+
n! is the factorial function. It multiplies a number by all positive integers below it. For example, 5! = 5×4×3×2×1 = 120.
